ways to PICTURE a word: keys

I kinda really like words. Word games like Scrabble, Boggle, Buzzword, Password are some of my favorites. I like to look up the definition when I come across a word I've never heard before. If I can't get to a dictionary I'll usually write down the word to look up later. I think it is interesting to find out where sayings come from. I think looking through a thesaurus is kinda fun. Ok...maybe that is going a little far. Maybe I need this...
...just kidding. Really.

Anyway, thankfully I do enjoy language since I deal with it everyday at work! Puns, rhymes, metaphors, idioms, and homonyms are all part of what we do in the language part of speech and language therapy! Now, you may be wondering what in the world this has to do with photography!? Well, over spring break I got to thinking about our crazy language and an idea for a way to connect it to photography popped into my head! I thought it would be a fun thing to put here on the blog and of course it has to have a corny name. =) So we'll call it:
ways to PICTURE a word.
Here's how it works: I'll be looking for pictures that represent the same word but different meanings. (Maybe it will even end up being something I can use in therapy, which would be pretty cool.) This should be fun!...if you like that sort of thing...
Here's the first one::
