What a beautiful day it is today!! After Brownie and I ate breakfast on the balcony, I hopped on my bike with the Nikon in my backpack to explore the island, hoping to find some pictures! Most of the pictures I took today are for a top-secret project, so unfortunately I can't put them on the blog just yet (but I promise to share them eventually)!! I did have a specific goal in mind today...I tried to take most of my pictures vertically. Usually I take horizontal or angled pictures (which I get grief for...but, I like angles!). It just seems like it is a little less easy to hold the camera vertically. However, there are times that a vertical orientation is just what a picture calls for, so I wanted to practice. Here is a website that gives some good tips about how to hold your camera. (Too bad I found this website after I finished taking pictures today...I'm pretty sure I was holding the camera like the dude with the red X...maybe that explains it!)
I just love cypress trees...I think they are so interesting looking with all the knees
Here are some hints about the top-secret project...although I would be very surprised if you could guess it from these pictures!
P.S. - No, I didn't ride around on my bike with boots on! =)
